ALL THAT I HAVE TO DO

As stated in Mila Pavićević’s foreword, “the focus of the spectator is placed on the invisible – the choreographic which, after studio work, continues to “work” in the visual domain. The space opening up before the spectator is not exhibition and presentation space, it is the space where the artist works, in various intervals. However, there is no romanticising and aestheticizing of the artistic process itself or the idea of work, as is often the case. The processes made visible by the choreographer are work, meditation and rest processes, as well as the space where exercising, temporary work interruptions, mistakes, attempts and restarts happen. The question of whether it is an atelier or a dance studio becomes less important – the invisible in the body equally evades us in both spaces, only to reappear somewhere, sometime.”
